Once upon a time in China, a monk was entrusted to deliver and collect scriptures to the West.  One of the things he had to prepare was choosing a horse to transport him to and fro. He went to the stable and begun his selection.

The horses were talking among themselves and after a “meeting”, a white horse volunteered to follow the monk.

When the time came, the monk rode the horse and begun their journey to the Western world. It took them about five months travelling to and fro from their homeland.

Upon their returned, the white horse was greeted with a standing ovation celebrating their successful trip.

All the horses started to ask the white horse on his journey, all the obstacles he faced, especially the distance covered during the journey.

The white horse told all the other horses that nothing has changed in the journey. If he did not volunteered to follow the monk, he will still be walking the same distance in the stable. In fact when he decided to follow the monk, he knew that he will have the chance to go outside of the stable and see the world. He got to see the lifestyle of the outside world and how they lived. At least he learnt many new things and the most important was the experience to go out of the box.

When the economy is unstable and unpredictable, most employees face uncertainties in their job. With reports from the media on retrenchment of workers, forcing employees to take unpaid leaves, taking a hefty pay cut just to ensure the employers survival in the business, job security of employees becoming a norm especially in the current global situation. This does not include unreported circumstances.

When the employees are retrenched, they panic. They source for another job and do the same thing. I mean they still in the rat race – working for people.

I’m not saying that you cannot become an employee, but if you are given the opportunity, try to be like the white horse. Think out of the box.

There are many opportunities waiting for those who want to be their own boss. This is the right time for them to grab this opportunity and experience the life of a business owner. I’m not asking you to open up a shop with tons of products and start selling, I just want you to be a Network Marketer. Give it a try. How? By experience it. If you don’t experience it, you would not discover the secrets. You have to explore it yourself.

There are many individuals out there who are very successful when they join the industries. What you need to do right now is to think like the white horse. When you made a decision, just do it. What you need is the same effort you apply when you are an employees. The only different, instead of working for people, you are now working for yourself. Give it a try..
