Branding Yourself Is More Important Than Selling Products

Whether you like it or not, in order for others to know who you are and what you are doing, you must be ever ready to meet people and share your passion. In other words, you must get traffic to come to you; or if you are marketing online, getting traffics to your website are your lifeline.

However, before you do that, you have to work hard in branding yourself. Market yourself, be confident! Once people know you, they will follow. Initially, you have to sell products to get things going. However, if you concentrate solely in selling products, I would ‘recommend’ you to just open up a shop in a good location with human traffic flocking like bees. But, that does not guaranteed that this people will buy your products unless they really need.

As a Network Marketer, you do not entirely selling products. In the long run, you might be ‘dead’ and it will slow down your business. It will die-off. Products are just one of the tools for you to brand yourself. Marketing yourself is one of the most important aspects in the industry. People follow leaders and not the products. Once you establish yourself as a leader, you will have followers for any products you’re marketing. People will trust you; but do not try to cheat them. A single mistake you make, all the trust will go inside the drain! If you want to be rich and successful, help people to be successful.

Build up your attitude! Go as high as possible. You only need less than 15% technics to execute your business. The rest should be focused in improving your attitudes. Why? Because your attitude determine your success in the business. You can have a good direct selling company supplying good and reliable products for you to market; you can have a very effective system supporting you in the business; or you can have the most intelligent and helpful uplines and leaders to guide in the business; but if you’re irresponsible, not focus and a NATO (no action talk only), then you will fail!

If you have not market yourself, do it now! It’s never too late. In network marketing industry, branding yourself is more important than selling products. As I said earlier, people follow and admire leaders; and a good leader is one that take actions, leads by example, caring, responsible, etc. …  leader can be trained and developed & not necessarily a born leader.
