I was born in 1965, the same year Singapore gained independent from Malaysia…in fact I was older than my own country by 6 months. During my primary school days, I studied at Telok Kurau West Primary School, now the school building housed Lasalle Art School. I was in Tanjong Katong Technical Secondary School from 1978 to 1981. I did not continued my studies after I left secondary school. I chose to work until I was enlisted in the Singapore Police Force as a National Serviceman from 1983 to 1985.
The Working Years
Since my secondary school, I had worked part time at one of the fast food chains. When I left school, I continued to work in the Food & Beverages Industries, working in a Japanese Members Club Pub somewhere in Goldhill Plaza. Before I was enlisted to don my National Service, I obtained my motorcycle license and decided to work as a Courier. I was in the industry for 6 months.
My love to music since the age of 13 years old, led me to play in a band performing gigs in clubs at night and events…yes I played the guitar and later as a keyboardist. I stopped playing the bands at the age of 26 years old, 3 years after my marriage.
Well, I did some businesses after completing National Service but unfortunately it failed miserably. I had to go to work again. I worked for a company dealing in Wedding Cards services before decided to join the hospitality industries – Hotel. I was in the industries for about 11 years working day in day out before decided to move on to another industries when I felt that my job had became a “daily routine”. I took this opportunity to find an office hour job in another service industry and decided to pursuit my study! Yes I took the Diploma in Computer Studies in one of the private school. Upon receiving my diploma, I switched job and worked in a Non profit Malay Muslim organization from 2000 to 2006.
During my terms there, I took charge of various sections and departments. My last responsibility was to take charged of the IT Department.
My Outdoor Adventures
In 2000, I was introduced to Mountain Climbing activities and since then I was actively involved. I stated to take up cycling, kayaking, sports climbing, rock climbing and other extreme sports just to make myself fit and healthy.
My Years in MLM (Multi-Level Marketing)
In 1998, I was introduced into these industries in Malaysia. As during that time, it was illegal in SG, I decided to “observe” from far. When it was legalized in 2000, I was still skeptical about it so decided only to use the products rather than involved in the marketing.
I went from one company to another, attending business opportunity meetings, seminar and events, but still could not find the right company to actually do it professionally. I only joined as member and without failed will pay my annual membership fees just to ensure that I’m not being left out of the industries .
Meanwhile, I also explored Internet marketing to keep me well informed of the industries too. I read books about MLM, IM and success stories to keep me on the path.
It was in the year 2006 when I was introduced by my colleague’s sister about a system that could help me succeed in the Industry. The rest was history, I quitted my job in 2007 to focus the business full-time.
From time to time, I continue to look for other opportunities, to supplement my Network Marketing Business as I believed that success won’t come easy, it need perseverence, commitment, sacrifice and intelligent ideas to see it through….
My motto …. Dreams…Discover…. Explore….Experience…to achieve Success for my family and my future…
