Network Marketing Environmental Hazard

As a network marketer, you need a positive environment on a daily basis to help you in the business. If you can’t find one daily, you’ve to create one for yourself. Actually. it’s not difficult to do something that can makes you stay positive everyday. As long as it helps, just do it! However, whether you want to take action is another subject. It’s all about your attitude.

One of the daily habits that I’ve been doing for the past 3 years since being involved in the network marketing industry to help me stay focus is listening to any tapes or cd related to the business. This is one way for you to stay positive and persevere in whatever you do.

There are many topics that you can select as far as network marketing is concerned. You can listen to subjects on the how-to series, broad definition of network marketing, getting started to do the business, etc, etc. If you search the Internet, with a click of a button, you can easily locate where to buy or get the information for free.

successfailurefo4 There are two must-have topics that I always listened to;  namely, self-help or personal development and spiritual or faith. For me, these two really helps me in not only my network marketing business, but whatever I do in life. I make it a point that I will listen to any of these topics daily. Nowadays, you can have listen to various types of media recordings apart from tapes and discs. It may also comes in mp3 or other formats that could easily be transferred to your phone or mini portable players.

Network Marketers should listen to self-help or personal development tapes – whatever available – daily to ensure that they always stay in a positive environment. These environment is needed as everyday, even a non-network marketers, will face and hear negative people or words more than positive ones. In fact, the ration is about 80 : 20 (80% negative to 20% positive). If normal people have to face this situation, what about network marketers like you and me! Will it be worst? Do you experience it daily? Think about it. Recall the situations you are dealing everyday.

Attitudes determine your success in this business. Attitudes include your habits, the way you think, talent, etc. In order for you to improve your attitudes, you’ve to improve your personality. You have to develop yourself. Pygmalion theory states that you have to live up to the expectations that are set or communicated to be successful in whatever you do. If you can’t help yourself, no one is going to help you. No one is going to hurt you, unless you want to hurt yourself. Your characters means a lot in developing your business.

Motivation comes from you. Listen to self-help and personal development tapes. There are many capable people and speakers out there. Listen to the likes of Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Jack Zufelt, and many more well-known speakers around the world or your local ones. If you are adapting a network marketing system, I’m very sure that you are given tapes recording for you to listen. Just do it! It will definitely help in expanding your business organization.

The network marketing industry is a competitive market, but easy to do. What you need is a long-term mindset and a reliable system that can be duplicated. System will provide you with a positive environment but when you’re alone ‘fighting the war’ in the streets, you’ve to create your own positive environment as a shield to protect you from ‘dream stealers’.

Fundamentals Of Internet Network Marketing

A closest friend of mine called me the other day after I posted my previous blog on Tips On Prospecting in Network Marketing. He wanted me to share with him on how to market the network marketing business online.

Another method of prospecting that could create a massive number of downlines that will provide you with a solid income is using the Internet. Whether you like it or not, in order for you to generate leads, you must venture out into the Internet. There really is no other way that I could think off; apart from the traditional or alternative method where you have convince your family, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and second and third cousins (you never met) to become your downline. You probably agree that this would not be any fun at all.

How do you do your prospecting through the Internet? Keep in mind that you still need to convey the same message that you do offline; the difference is the tools that you use – website or through emails. In other words, you have to equip yourselves with some knowledge if you want to execute your prospecting through the online method. These are the fundamentals that you must clearly understand if you want to market or prospect online.

List Building

23914218 One of the core fundamentals is building a list. When you are prospecting online, your list is unlimited and comes from all over the world. The Internet market is global! If you believed that you are marketing one of the best products in the world; from a widely known direct selling company; with one of the best compensation plan available; and the products that are sought after by consumers; then, you should market it online. Some company will provide you with a complete online marketing system that could help you in prospecting online. But some company won’t. You have to take note of it if you are inclined to online prospecting. But that’s not the end of the world, you can still build your own system, whether you want or otherwise. Building a list is similar to preparing a name list in the offline method. The only difference is that you don’t meet face to face with your prospects and sometimes you don’t even know your own ‘prospects’. Isn’t this is good? Well, not so.

Driving Traffic

You can have a complete professional website provided by the direct selling company or you created them, but if you could not get people to visit or come to your website, then it is as good as having a ‘white elephant’ staying in your virtual address (domain name) that do nothing. There are many methods on how you need to drive traffic to your website, such as, articles submission, blogging, social media website, back links, targeting unmonetized searches, offering something incredible, products reviews, joint-venture, etc.

Increasing Conversions

k1370462 When someone visited your website, it must be able to convert him/her into a prospect. Remember that not all visitors can become your prospects, but your prospects can be turned into your downlines – consumers or business builder. How do you increase the conversion rate? There are few things you must take note.

Try to understand your visitors. What’s their need? Why they come to your website? What attracts them? How they know about your website? What traffic medium they use to find your website? Take note of all this.

Understand what you really want to achieve from having the website. What’s your objectives? What’s your goal? It is just to make money or to have a long-term mindset in your network marketing business. Your goals should be set with the visitors in mind! As you could not control the types of visitors, breaks your goals to cater different types of visitors e.g. get free ebook, read your blog posting, download video & audio recording, buy products, join as business partners, etc.

Bridge the gap between you and your website visitors. As your main goal is to prospect them into joining you in the business, you have to get you visitors to do so. Remember again that not all your visitors come for what you expecting. They have their own agenda. You must pre-sell your visitors before getting them to buy your objective. How you perform the steps depends on the situation, as it differs. Just get them to climb a ladder or staircase from the lowest to the highest level. Focus more on bridging the gap.

Duplication

In network marketing, whether you are prospecting offline or online, focus and fine-tuning only one effective system and duplicate it 100%! You must ensure that you keep on testing the system until you really satisfy with it. The keyword in having a good system that can be duplicated over and over again, is to test, carry-on testing, keep on testing, until fully tested that it works.

Must I be a good writer to create a good website that sells? It will be good if you can write. But if you don’t, you can get someone to write for you. I’ll touch on this on my next posting.

Now, in order to prospect online, you need to create a website if you are not provided one by your direct selling company. If you do not have the passion for it, then find something else you have a passion for. Life is much to short to be diddling around with something you don’t really care about. In the end, you will not succeed. Blame it on God if you want to, but your commitment to the whole idea of a promotional website will slip down around your ankles if you are not passionate about this thing in your site’s promotion.

Tips On Prospecting In Network Marketing

On my previous posting, I shared about the importance of prospecting in network marketing. Whether you are prospecting offline (traditional method of approach) or online, you must have a certain guidelines or tips on how to do it the right way. Keep in mind that prospecting must be instilled in you as a mindset rather than merely as an activity.

k1651928 As a network marketer, you must always be prepared to handle prospecting as you won’t know when and where your next prospects will be coming from. You may probably be one of the distributors that are very good in products knowledge; but if you could not get a prospect, then you will not close a sale.

The followings are some powerful tips on prospecting that could bring you success in your business.

No. 1. Develop your personal skills. You must always be calm and confident. Do not be too nervous about making mistakes. As humans, we make mistake, so do not worry about it. If you  don’t make mistake, you are not going to learn. You can always start all over again, as long as you know that your business will be successful. Always maintain a professional image as it will reflects your business. Be enthusiastic and excited. You can build confidence by using all the system’s help i.e. tools, uplines, gatherings and keep yourself updated with current news through media, books, etc.

No. 2. Do not forget to ask for referrals from your current consumers. Your prospects can be just a consumer or a business builder (active distributors). Your consumers will definitely have friends. However, do not immediately ask after you close the sales. Give some times for the consumers to settle down or after using the products. Though timing is very important, if you make a wrong move, not only your consumers won’t give you referrals, but he or she may find ways to “disassociate” from you. However, once they believe in the products, they will be very happy to share with their friends or relatives.

No. 3. Prepare a name list. Studies have shown that when you write something, you will tend to remember more, thus you will take action. Relying too much on your memory is not a good practice especially in this business. You can make full use of your powerful memory with other tasks. Always keep your name list updated and add-in new name everyday even if you only have one name to write. If you are a full-time marketers, spend at least two-hours to go through your list and make calls. Don’t just simply write down but no contact is made. Your name list should have telephone numbers and email addresses, just in case you are prospecting online.

No. 4. A good network marketer may not be a top sales personnel. Instead he should be proactive and effective so that he can influence others to join in. In other words, quality of people you bring into your organization is also important. Even though I did mentioned on my previous postings that anyone can do network marketing, you still have to check on the quality of the people whom you’ve narrowed down to be your business builder. Bring in only good people who have the desire to succeed in life; a person who want to achieve dreams. Look for those in corporate ladder; a person who holds an important position and works under great pressure and responsibilities; Those who always busy with their work; Those who have the passion and love in what they are doing. Do not spend so much time on one prospect. If you are adapting a system, let the system “handle” him/her.

No. 5. You must know what to ask or write in the process of prospecting. Talk about their goals in life; ask them about their family, occupation, hobby. You may touch a little about financial improvement, freedom, trends and the sense of crisis. In fact, on the current financial recession, this is a good topic to start with such as job stability, spending power, etc.

No. 6. The most important tips is do not take rejection personally. Rejection is part of prospecting. Rejection is actually a natural part of life that happen daily. It’s just a process that if you take it positively, you can use it as a learning process to improve your prospecting method. Use it as a feedback to improve yourself. If you could not accept rejection, it will definitely kill the perseverance you need to sustain your network marketing business.

As a network marketer, prospecting is one area that you must do if you want to succeed in the business. Though it is the most toughest and challenging, you have no choice but to do it. It will determine how you grow your organization and it’s where your income and financial success is measured. By combining all the above, you can definitely bring your business to the next level of success.

The Importance Of Prospecting In Network Marketing

I was in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, having lunch at Kenny Rogers at City Square. While enjoying the food, a quarter chicken meal with 3 side dishes and a muffin plus a glass of cafe latte, my eyes were actually observing two individuals – man and woman – who were sitting at the respective corners in the restaurant at that moment. I knew that they were waiting for someone from their reactions and body languages. I could be wronged but my mind thought otherwise.

About 15 minutes later, their friends came. Both couples ordered their lunch sets, enjoying the food and had a good chat. I wasn’t very sure whether they have known each other before or it was their first date. Whatever it was, it got nothing to do with me. I guessed it was a happy ending at that moment for both couples.

Lets get back to business.

One of the daily habits of network marketers is to arrange appointment with people to share the business opportunity. However, before the meeting could be set, you have to prospect for consumers and business associates.

3363261 Prospecting in network marketing is the major part of the network marketing business. Nothing will replace it. Prospecting is like a bread that is buttered to grease the wheels of the marketing machine, plain and simple. It is Ok to disagree with this, but it won’t change the reality of where your income is generated from. In other words, when there are no one to talk and share, no money will be coming in. If you are prospecting online, then you need traffic to visit your website.

Prospecting for leads is the backbone of all network marketing realities. You can have a few hundred people knocking on your doors for the product, but if you think that this is the best method for you to make your network marketing income, then you are so very, very wrong.

Naturally, the direct selling companies will not pay you to just sell the products. The big and real money plus the incentives are all wrapped up with the downlines you can create. Your business partners that run your personal franchise are the one that bring you wealth and stability in your network marketing business.

There are only two methods of prospecting – the traditional offline method and the online marketing via email and website. These are only marketing tools. In order for you to succeed in prospecting, you have to apply both method. Both method should compliment each other in term of expanding your network organization.

SU14 When you’re prospecting offline, make full use of the telephone to get appointments. Do not mention the detailed plan over the phone. Your objective is to secure the time and venue of the meeting. Tell your prospects politely that the whole plan is very difficult to be explained over the phone and promise them that you will go through all the details when you meet up with each other; and no obligation on their part. This would not be any fun at all.

If you want to create downlines that will provide you with a solid income, then you must venture out into the Internet and generate leads. There is really no other way apart from the online method. Remember, by prospecting online, you are not only targeting locally, but globally.

Marketing prospecting has always been about re-awakening the best of what we all have in us to shine with. By creating your promotional website to appeal to human nature in a positive way, you cannot go wrong. This will touch people in places they might not be aware of even having anymore. But this is actually helping prospects to find something you might have an answer for.

Why Do Network Marketing?

In a Network Marketing business, you must be always prepared to accept unplanned or unexpected challenges. Everyday, you will continue to face new and challenging goals, meet different kinds of people from all walks-of-life, and encounter new things and experiences. Success breeds success.

They will observe what you do and shall discover all the positive words and the encouragement you use as you talk over the phone with your prospects and business partners. After sometimes, your children and siblings will also become a person who has goals and become more independent. Indirectly, your action could also change your children, siblings and family members mindset to be successful in life.

If you do the business well, you will win the freedom of money and time. You could spend your vacation with the entire family or you can go for an overseas trip together.

Unlike having a traditional business, unless you’ve built up an empire, usually only one of the spouses could go travelling, as the other one has to stay behind to take care of the business. Sometimes, even the travelling spouse will still have to call the office to ensure that the business is well-managed and all other never ending matters are being taken care.

I’ve been into traditional business before. You can really see the difference. The followings are some factors on why do network marketing.

Low capital and risk free.

Be your own boss – No one is going to check on you, but do remember that every person should have a mentor as “personal life guide” to achieve success.

Work at home or anywhere you want to. This will save expenses such as shop or office rental.

More flexible time, and more leisure time.

You can double the time of making money, thus double your wealth.

Need not have to hire employees and pay any salary. You’re in fact looking for business partners to expand your business. You’re not bound by any labour law.

You need not have to apply any licenses to run the business and you only invest yourself in training. The training cost is low and available any time. Depending on what you want.

No discrimination on genders, nationalities, ethnic groups, etc.

Cost spent on network marketing business may be written off for income tax purpose.

All transaction in cash.

Return on investment is comparatively quick.

The income potential is exponential.

Depending on the direct selling company you’ve chosen, most companies provide high quality, reasonable priced consumer products.

Need not have to keep products’ stocks.

Need not have to endure government ‘red tape’. The direct selling company will take care of any matters related to it.

You plan you working hours. Your income would not be influenced by natural disasters or calamity unless is really beyond your control. As network marketing is about leveraging of people network, if 100 people can put in at least 1% effort individually during this period, the business will still be successful, than 1 person puts in 100% effort.

You must have a system to do the business. A good system provides you with tools, support, training, working uplines, etc. for you to duplicate. You have all the time (not limit) to make full use of the system as long as you are in the industry. Trust me, you will succeed if you duplicate 100% of the system you’ve chosen.

It is inherited! Depending on the network marketing company you’ve chosen as your medium, some will allow you to transfer your account to your family members, without any question. Remember, you are one of the bosses of the company, without you, their products will be unknown, and their sales will not excel.

Use this to consider why you should be doing network marketing if you are given the choice between starting a traditional or network marketing business.

How Do You Choose The Right Network Marketing Company?

How do you choose the right network marketing company? Having been in the industry for more than 10 years, personally my advise is do not choose one where you have to quit after doing it for one, two, three or five years, then start all over again. It will be a great loss to you.

A good and reliable network marketing company can last for an entire life time. How do you determine whether you have chosen the right one. Are there any criteria that network marketing company should have. Ask yourselves the following questions and examine its usefulness in making your choice.

k1564176 What is the philosophy of the company? This is important as it will determine whether is it for a life time or a ‘hit & run’ type of company.

What are the qualities of the person in charge and the team members? This is another important criteria. You must be able to get information of the company’s founder(s). It will also determine whether the company will have a long term mindset or otherwise.

Is this a stable company? Check how long this company has been in operation.

Does this company face any financial difficulties? A trustworthy company is always transparent with their financial status.

Is this company equipped with advanced technology with a strong research and development team? Another important aspect to be carefully considered. Nowadays, most network marketing company are into healthcare. If you choose to be in this category, ensure that the company have a powerful R&D team. Why? Because this types of products must be fully fully tested and undergone various checks before it can be consumed.

Does this company have a practical future plan?

Can the products of the company bring continuous sales? Do they have a variety of products or only one? Can people afford to buy them? Are the products safe or approved by any respected body or even the government? Do the products comes with a satisfaction guarantee?

Is the marketing plan of the company fair? Can you expand your business globally using only one account? Can you get any bonus if you have an international business?

Does the company contribute to the society, such as doing charity work apart from focusing on their main business?

Is the company well-known in the Direct Selling Association or International Direct Selling Association circle?

These are some that I felt strongly when selecting a network marketing company as your medium. One of the advantages of a good network marketing business is that it can also bring you to an all-round success that involve your own family. Not only you can make money but you are also bringing vitality and hope to your family.

Make your choices, build dreams and your future. Sometimes it really sad to see if a person has no hope for his future. Can you dream of a better future for yourself and family?
