Characteristics Features of a Leader

Filed in: Network Marketing, Network Marketing - MLM, Network Marketing - Success, Personal Development | by pactrex on 02-19-09

A good leader doesn’t mean he/she is a Network Marketer. However, a Network Marketer is definitely a leader. Do you agree? Probably not.

The question is, are leaders groomed or born leaders? Well it’s up to you to decide too, as every individual has a leader in them. How they bring out that leadership in them plays an important aspects.

Now, in Network Marketing, what are the characteristic features of a Leader. What makes them a good leader? These are some that I’ve heard, seen that could make a good leader.

  • Great leaders started because of their belief. They came out and executed their belief. It was this belief that started their journey. The belief that no one else can take away from them except themselves. If you want to be a leader, you must belief in what you want to achieve. Even though there are many obstacles and difficulties to come, strengthen your belief to overcome it.
  • Leaders help his/her organization to see things easier and clearer thus making it easy to focus on our belief.
  • Leaders can see what are needed in order to help his/her organization. It was due to their believes that intellectual wealth and health fulfillment are created.
  • Leaders have visions. Visions are our starting point to our belief and dreams.
  • Leaders must know how to act on it – the belief to fulfil! They do extra-ordinary things.
  • Last but not the least, leaders must have qualities! I call it the heart of the leaders; and they are
  • Image of a hero
  • Determination
  • Self confident
  • Responsibilities
  • Influential

If you ask from other network marketing leaders, most of them will tell you that the main characteristic of a leader is the Belief of the leaders themselves.

You can have all the above, but having a constant learning environment will leads you to a continuous growing. Personal development should not be forgotten and always be positive and take actions, take actions, and take more actions.

To your success,

Cannot Control Your Anger, Try This…

Filed in: General, Personal Development | by pactrex on 02-16-09

I’m trying to close my eyes after taking some medicines. I thought I could rest and sleep but unable to do so. I was reading some notes from my scrap book and found this story that I felt was worth sharing. The story begins…

There was once a little boy who had a bad temper. His father decided to give him a bag of nails with a hammer and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven in 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learnt to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence…..

Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it. The father suggested that the boy now pulled out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The boy accepted the challenge.

The days passed and the young boy finally able to take out all the nails from the fence. He then informed his father on his achievement.

The father took his son by the hand, hugged him and led him to the fence, and said,”You have done well, my son, but look at the holes on the fence. The fence will never be the same again. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound will still be there.”

The moral of the story is ……

You think about it!

Probably You Know The Enemy

Filed in: Network Marketing, Network Marketing - MLM | by pactrex on 02-14-09

DISTRACTIONS. The fourth enemy if you are a Network Marketer. All distractions are created equal. The whole world would tries to distract you. Think of anything that can make you sway from your business focus. Sports, games, TV, Movies, Concert, etc. There will always be something that is stealing your time from creating a better life. You have to be self-discipline to not be distracted.

Let me share with you a strategy that I applied when I first active in the industries. You are going to make excuses in order to be successful. Make excuses to your downlines, your prospects, your family? You don’t have to do it long term. But when you’re in the business, you do it to the right people.

I love mountain climbing. However, when I decided to focus on the business in 2007, I skipped all the trips. Remember its only a short term. You are going to enjoy all when you succeed in the business and you can have it any time you want. Again, make excuses to the right people. This is how one way you can overcome distractions.

There are other enemies that can leads you out of the business. But I personally feel that Rejections, Apathy, Attrition and Distractions are the main enemies of all Network Marketers globally.

What do you think?

Talk soon.
