Jane Gave Birth….

I was having a discussions with friends yesterday when I received an SMS from my daughter that Jane has gave birth.

No wonder, that morning Jane was behaving a bit different from normal days. She followed me in & out of my bedroom, around the house. Maybe. she was trying to tell me that the time has come, but, I was just ignoring her.

Jane was a beautiful cat that my son ‘picked-up’ at our apartment void-deck a year ago. She was just a little kitten then. How she got herself pregnant? One week before we found Jane, my son had actually rescued a male kitten when he was knocked by a car while crossing a road. It was a miracle that he survived! He was just a kitten too. We named him JJ. That’s how it all started.Photo298

Jane has given birth to 4 beautiful kittens. Aren’t they cute and lovely? Now, my family has grown. To be precise, 12 in total (6 cats). How are we going to look after them? It will be the same ways how we looked after their parents – JJ & Jane.

In Network Marketing, when you know how to manage your business and downlines, your organization will grow. Having four newly born kittens, is like having a new downlines.

Taking care of JJ & Jane was not an easy task. We have to do it together – it was a family effort – working as a team.

Network Marketing is a business that cannot be done on your own. It will only grow if you work in a team of dedicated people by following a system. Do not re-invent the wheel; just duplicate the system.

To my newborn kittens, welcome to the family and this world!

Choosing The Right Company..

There are many books available offline or online about Network Marketing. One of the important aspects to succeed in this industries is the company you choose to represent. A few weeks ago, I’ve written about the criteria you have to look for when choosing a direct selling company.

Why? Personally, I’ve experienced it myself; not one but two occasions. My first encounter was a local company which I highly respected. During that time, I was only a part-time marketer. My knowledge was not so good but I was motivated and energetic. I only sell the products. Apparently, I came to know that the company was only a distributor in SG (not a Direct Selling company). The company was declared bankrupt due to bad debts. There goes all my efforts. I have no choice but to start all over again with another company

The second experience involved a non local company. During their opening, I could see many familiar Multi Level & Network Marketers rushing to join as distributors. After a year, I left due to some company’s regulations where I was not in favour of and the ‘environment’. After a few months, the company actually had to move their operations to another country and subsequently was liquidated.

After these two experiences, I was more than careful to select a company to work with. I still continue as my believed in this industries was strong; only to ensure that I choose the right company as a platform to build my network marketing business, a personal franchise as mentioned by many leaders.

Having a good company is not enough. You must have the right products to sell and market; products that are branded as a wave but not a trend; products that are in demand in the 21st century; products that continue to improve and change life.

If you ask me, there are only two on my mind; namely, Wellness & continuous education, an industries that will reach a massive trillions dollars business. The question is, can a marketer involved in the two industries at the same time? Yes or No.

Do You Need A Website?

A lot of marketers will tell you, “No” you don’t need a website in order to be successful online. And they’re right to an extent, because there are a variety of ways to make monëy without a website. HOWEVER, most of those guys are probably trying to sell you some program, and they just don’t want you to be inhibited from buying it…

In my opinion, you will be at a severe disadvantage if you don’t have your own website. You can only go so far without it, and if you try to go without it, there will eventually come a time when you want one. A lot of newbies make the mistake of saying, “I’ll get one later when I really need it.”

The best time to start your website is NOW. For one thing, it takes time for website to develop natural traffic, and the sooner you get started, the sooner you will start getting search engine traffic. For another thing, you can use your website in correlation with almost any avenue of online income that you decide to pursue.

At least start a blog and write anything that you desire. A blog can bring you more traffic if you update it frequently as compared to a static website. There are many website that offer free blog space, however, if you want to look more professional, then use WordPress, it’s free, user friendly. All you need is a simple one page to start with.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Days ago, my friend asked me the different between Network and Affiliate Marketing. This was what I’ve told him and wanted to share with you…

A great opportunity for earning money online is affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing basically means selling other people’s products for a commission online. Affiliate marketing is similar to offline sales where sales people earn a commission for selling a product; the difference is that all selling is conducted online.

As an affiliate marketer you will research and find products to promote on your website. Each time you make a sale through your affiliate link you will earn a portion of that sale. The commissions can vary from as low as 7% to a generous 75%.

The sales are tracked through your unique affiliate ID which is assigned to you at the time you sign up for a specific affiliate program. Your unique affiliate ID is tracked and each time a sale is made through your link it is recorded. A good affiliate program will give you plenty of tools for promoting their products as well as a comprehensive member’s area where you can track your affiliate sales and commissions.

Affiliate marketing is a good way to get started online. You can be set up and ready to go within a few days and there is no need to spend any time creating your own products or purchasing inventory. You are simply promoting other people’s products, which means the vendor is actually responsible for order fulfillment, customer service and anything else related to the sale – you simply refer the sale to them and get paid for doing so.

For example if you have a love of cooking, you can create a website around cooking related topics and include tips, recipes, and reviews of all your favourite cooking gadgets. You can then find affiliate programs online and promote some of those products on your website. You can find programs by doing a search under your chosen topic such as “cooking” and adding the words “affiliate program” to that term. You can also find affiliate programs at places like CJ.com.

Although affiliate marketing is an easy way to get started online, there is a little more to it than just throwing up a few links and banners and waiting for the affiliate check to arrive. A good affiliate marketer knows it takes time and effort to make sales.

A good way to do this is by providing quality information on your website and only linking to affiliate products where appropriate. Another good tip is to review the products you promote so that you can accurately describe all the features – good and bad. Your customers will appreciate honest feedback and will be more likely to buy from you if you give them good quality information and honest reviews.

Traditional MLM Systems

Systems are the main reason why companies and individuals such as Network & MLM marketers succeed. They undergone years of trial and error to ensure that they have the best systems to support their operations.

As a traditional Network Marketers, I have the opportunity to execute and test many systems that were introduced by either the Direct Selling companies or my sponsors. Every companies and MLM teams will claimed that they have the best system. In order to justify their claims, I have no other choices but to attend all organized seminars, meetings, etc. I never missed any of these events.

Why? Because my believe in network marketing were very strong. In fact, I promised myself that I will not quit until I reach to the top! I’ve spent countless of efforts, hard works, not to forget the money invested, even to the extend of quitting my full-time jobs just to experience it first hand. What have I gained? Priceless real-life knowledge & experience.

It really opened up my thoughts, perception of the Network Marketing industries. It was all about people! I was lucky as I have one that always be by my side during the ups and downs, providing the positive environment, giving positive ideas, encouragement…She is my wife.

On the so called systems adapted by the traditional method, which has produced many successful leaders, the truth is in this 20th century, you cannot solely rely on it to succeed in the business. What you need is an additional system that can support the current one. A system that integrate both the traditional and technologies of today.

As for products, there is no limitations on how many you should have as long as we don’t cheat people money. Don’t market a product that you never or seldom use it.

However, one things that keep me going on is knowledge. All traditional systems encourage us to read books, listen to tapes, attend seminar, etc. etc. In this area I did more than what was recommended as this involved my personal development. It keeps me stronger in the business even I was rejected countless of times, etc. Continue to learn, increase knowledge, don’t stop as long as it concern you and your business.

Always believed in faith and the Creator. This will definitely help you.
